Ship Dynamics today announced the opening of its new office in Fremantle where it will service and provide solutions to all market areas. "With an innovative line up of products and design capabilities Ship Dynamics is well placed to provide assistance to clients at all levels", says Tony Elms, Managing Director of Ship Dynamics. "With our previous experience in the industry we have a lot to offer, whether the application is for monohulls, catamarans or trimarans." When asked about the difference between Ship Dynamics and other motion control specialists, Mr Elms says, "We were involved as the first motion control supplier to provide clients with a complete seakeeping package from the design stage through to customised applications. In other words, by commissioning a seakeeping analysis customers could determine not only the benefit of a motion control system on their vessel but go an extra step and determine the appropriateness of their vessel for a given operating route", he said. "Whilst we would like to sell a motion control system, this is not our prime focus for a customer. Our first priority lays with helping the customer to decide if they have the right vessel for their proposed route. When they're happy, so are we."
