Catamaran

Catamaran configuration showing the transom mounted interceptors, auxiliary steering and forward mounted T-foils.  The foils fitted to the vessel in this case may be the flapped type or interceptored type.  The flapped foils are typically limited to speeds below 45 knots and the intercepted foils for speeds above 30 knots with the added advantage of still being effect at speeds well over 45 knots.
